We have been learning the concepts of addition and subtraction in the classroom. One of the Kindergarten standards is to fluently be able to solve addition and subtraction within 5. When we return from Winter Break, we will begin our math sessions with timed math tests to test your child’s fluency on their math facts.
Today I sent home some flash cards. They are not cut apart yet. These are for you to use, cut apart, and hole punch onto a silver ring. I also sent a ring home with your child. Get a head start on those basic addition and subtraction facts!
Congratulations to our newest sound experts, Koa and Mason! Way to work hard and make a ton of growth! We are proud of you!
We are so excited for our Polar Express Day on Friday, December 15th. We want to celebrate all of the amazing work our student’s have accomplished this quarter of school. Your child is welcome to wear “school appropriate” pajamas for the occasion. Please wear shoes with your pajamas. We will enjoy hot cocoa while we watch the Polar Express!
She showed up on Friday morning and we are happy she is here! Meet Glitter, Room 402’s Christmas Elf!
